FOR RELEASE ON OCTOBER 29TH 2010 - Leecare Solutions Unveils Platinum 5.0 At Exclusive Launch

Melbourne, VIC October 28th, 2010 – Leecare Solutions officially unveiled its Platinum 5.0 IntelligentDesign Software at the luxurious and prestigious La Trobe Room inside the Sofitel.

The IntelligentDesign® technology - a world first in aged care, utilizes open source technology allowing users for the first time a choice to operate in either Mircrosoft or non-Microsoft environments. The solution can either be installed on the client server network or deployed as hosted or managed service.

Leecare Solutions, formerly known as Lee Consulting Australia, revealed its new trading name on the night and said it best reflects its core business of working in partnership with clients by adding value to aged care operational outcomes through its cost-effective IntelligentDesign Clinical and Care Management Solutions Software.

Leecare Solutions CEO, Dr. Caroline Lee said, “I am delighted to be a part of history in Aged Care with the introduction of Platinum 5.0 powered by our unique IntelligentDesign technology. Providers, for the first time, can choose whether they want to use Apple Mac or iPads for instance, which our competitors don’t support. In alignment with rapidly growing open source platform and our unparalleled expertise in the field of aged care and technology, choice comes at no additional cost.

In fact there is no requirement for any additional applications or licenses. The Platinum 5.0 Software Appliance was also a shining star on the night. Also powered by Leecare’s IntelligentDesign, the Appliance is virtually set-and-forget, as all maintenance and updates are automatically handled by Leecare Solutions.

The Appliance can be deployed as a hosted or managed service, or locally installed as per the needs of the client which offers a variety of cost benefits including little to no capital expenditure, fixed costs, and low risk implementation.
